PROGRAMMING KEYS†

A key telephone has two sets of keys which may be programmed by the user.
Programmable Function Keys: your key telephone may have either 12 or 24 of these key with lamps. You may choose to
program either an extension number, exchange line or a feature using the function code under each key.
One Touch Keys: there are 10 of these keys on your key telephone and you may program an extension number, exchange line,
or a feature's service code under each key. A second operation may be stored under the One Touch keys (refer to One touch
Serial Operation).
The display telephones have many features already programmed for quick access - see later details.
There are two tables, one detailing the function codes and the other the service codes for features. Some features only have a
function code and so may only be stored under a Programmable Function Key; some features only have a service code and so
may only be stored under a One Touch Key; most features have both a function and service code associated and so may be
stored under either key type.
To program a Programmable Function Key
- Press an idle CL key
- Dial 8 5 1
- Press a programmable function key
- Enter the 4 digit function code
- Listen for confirmation tone
- Press the SPK key

The common cancelling code (720) cancels Alarms, Forwards. DND, Headset, Message waiting, Repeat dial, Text message
ext. no. = extension number
To program a One Touch key
- Press an idle CL key
- Dial 8 5 5
- Press a one touch key
- Enter an extension or external number
(prefix with 9) or the 3 digit service code
There is no confirmation tone
- Press the SPK key
mesg. no = message number
