HOLD
You may place a caller on hold to hear music on hold or silence. While the call is held you may process other calls or use a
system feature.
To hold an internal call:-
Key telephone
- Press the HOLD key
- To reconnect, press the
flashing CL key
An external call may be held in a number of ways. The HOLD key is programmed for system hold and in order to use exclu-
sive hold a key must be programmed. A held call which is not picked up, automatically recalls to the extension placing it on
hold.
Exclusive hold: only the extension placing the call on hold may reconnect to it as the line key (if programmed) appears busy at
other key telephones.
Key telephone
- Press the Exclusive Hold programmed key
- To reconnect, press the flashing line key
or the flashing CL key
System hold†: the line key (if programmed) flashes at other key telephones and any user with the flashing line key can
reconnect to the call.
Key telephone
- Press the HOLD key and
- To reconnect, press the flashing line key
or the flashing CL key if at the holding station
if desire
Single Line Telephone
- Press the Recall key and remain
- To reconnect, press the Recall key
Single Line Telephone
- Press the Recall key
- Remain
- To reconnect, press the Recall key
