ACCOUNT CODES

These are user-dialled codes that may need to be entered when placing a call. An account code may be optional: to be entered
at any time during a call (generally for call logging purposes), or forced: it must be entered every time an exchange line call is
made, otherwise the system prevents the call. An account code may be up to eight digits including #.
To enter an optional account code (at any time on a call)
- Press the * key
- Dial the account code
- Press the * key again

DIAL BLOCK

Dial Block allows you to temporarily change the toll restriction (for dialling) set for your extension. Permission to use dial
block and its associated toll restriction is set in system programming. If you forget your password, see your system supervisor.
To set/release at your extension

- Dial 7 0 0
- Enter personal password (any 4 digits but must be
the same to set/release)
- Dial 1 to set or 0 to release
Confirmation tone is heard

To enter a forced account code
- Access an exchange line
- Press the * key
- Dial the account code
- Press the * key again
- Dial the external number
To set/release from another extension
-
- Dial 7 0 1
- Dial the password (see supervisor)
- Dial the extension number requiring set/
release of Dial Block
- Dial 1 to set or 0 to release
Confirmation tone is heard
