CLI RESRICT †
By programming a CLI Restrict key it is possible to stop any CLI (Calling Line Identification) being sent from your telephone.
Whilst the associated key lamp is lit, no CLI is sent, when it is idle then CLI is sent.
To restrict CLI
-
- Press the CLI Restrict key
The key lamp is lit

ABBREVIATED NUMBERS

Frequently dialled numbers may be stored as abbreviated dials (abdials) to speed up access. There are 1000 or 2000 abdials
(depending on system size) that can be split into common or group codes as necessary by systen programming. Key telephones
and single line telephones can both access the abdials and on a key telephone the DC key allows access to the common
abdials.
To call an abdial:-
Key telephone
-
- Press the DC key
and dial the common abdial code
or Dial 8 1 4 and the group
abdial code
To allow CLI
-
- Press the CLI Restrict key
The key lamp is idle
Single Line Telephone
-
- Dial 8 1 3 and the common
abdial code
or Dial 8 1 4 and the group
abdial code
