Input Equalisation Configuration
A 3-band equaliser is provided on Mic/Line inputs in order to balance the input tone. This equaliser has a
shelving HF (treble) adjustment, shelving LF (bass) adjustment, and a fixed MID section adjustment.
A High Pass filter is also configurable. This would typically be used on microphone inputs to prevent
excessive 'pop' noise.
In order to configure the 3-band equaliser and the High Pass filter proceed as follows.
1.
Select Configuration System Router Inputs Mic/Line.
2.
Scroll the Mic/Line input list and select the required input:
[I/P #01 – MIC/LINE 01]
Default value:
input 1
Possible input:
01 to 04 for VAR4
01 to 12 for VAR12
01 to 20 for VAR20
Note: The input name is shown on the right side of the display. The input name above is the Mic/Line
input 1 default name, however this may have been changed according to each site's
configuration.

The configured Mic/Line type is displayed.
The input type may be changed, as described in Section
4.
Press the SELECT key to display the next sub-menu.

Move to, and select the Audio menu item, which is shown in different positions for different input types
as follows:
'Paging Microphone' and 'Zoned Fire Microphone'
Buttons [Audio] Ctrl
'Single Button Microphone'
PTT [Audio] Ctrl
'Fire Microphone' and 'Miscellaneous Input'
[Audio] Ctrl
'Network Channel'
