11.1

Test Tone Type Configuration

In order to select the Test Tone type which will be generated proceed as follows.
1.
Select Configuration System Router Inputs Misc Test Tone.
2.
Move to, and scroll the Test Tone types until the required type is displayed in the left field:
[Type = Speech Noise] Pri
Speech Noise
White Noise
Pink Noise
Sine Wave
The test tone frequency is fixed at 1kHz, however it is configurable from the Configuration Tool.
The following frequencies are available via the Configuration Tool: 100Hz, 150Hz, 300Hz, 500Hz,
1kHz, 2kHz, 3kHz, 4kHz, 5kHz, and 10kHz.

Default value:
'Speech Noise'

Save the changes by pressing the SELECT key, or cancel by pressing the BACK key.
11.2

Test Tone Input Gain Configuration

It is possible to define the gain to be applied to the Test Tone in respect of any output to which it may be
routed, as described in the following steps.
1.
Select Configuration System Router Inputs Misc Test Tone.
2.
Move to, and select the Gain menu item:
Type = Speech Noise
3.
Scroll the input gain values until the required value is displayed:
[Gain(dB)=-11]
Default value:
'–11'
Possible values: –63dB to 0dB (1dB steps)
Note: Note that this adjustment works in real time, so it can be experienced immediately on any live
routes.
4.
Save the changes by pressing the SELECT key, or cancel by pressing the BACK key.
