Network Channel Surveillance Tone Detection

Ensure that the surveillance tone detection on the Network Channel is enabled and tone level is set to its
default setting of –40dB in order to enable recovery in case of network faults.
In order to configure the surveillance tone proceed as follows.
1.
Select Configuration System Router Inputs Mic/Line.
2.
Scroll the Mic/Line input list and select the Network Channel input:
[I/P #01 – MIC/LINE 01]
Default value:
input 1
Possible inputs: 01, 03, and 04 can be programmed as Network Channel.
Note: The input name is shown on the right side of the display. The input name above is the Mic/Line
input 1 default name, however this may have been changed according to each site's
configuration.
3.
The configured Mic/Line type is displayed.
[Network Channel]
4.
Press the SELECT key to display the next sub-menu.
5.
Move to, and select the Audio menu item.
[Audio] Name
6.
Move to, and select the Surv menu item.
[Surv] EQ
Fade
7.
Toggle to the 'LF' option in the left field:
[Mode=LF] Level(dB)=-40
8.
Move to, and scroll until the –40dB level (right level) is displayed:
Mode=LF [Level(dB)=-40]
9.
Save the changes by pressing the SELECT key.
