Configuring an Amplifier's AC Surveillance Interval

As standard the VAR Router output is configured to generate a pulsed surveillance tone, as described in
Section
"12.4 Surveillance Tone Generation
The maximum interval between surveillance tone pulses for pulsed surveillance tones can be configured.
Once set, the system must see pulses at this interval or more regularly. If pulses are not received within this
interval a fault will be reported.
In order to set the AC surveillance interval proceed as follows.
1.
Select Configuration Frames.
2.
Scroll and select a mainframe from the configured mainframe list:
[Frame#nn - ]
Default values:
n.a.
Note: If no mainframe is configured, then a warning message will be displayed.
The mainframe description will be shown on the right side of the display, if defined.
3.
Move to, scroll, and select a slot from the slot list:

1 to 4
Note: If the selected slot is not configured, then a warning message will be displayed.
4.
Move to, and select the AC Level menu item:
Description [AC Level] DC Line
5.
Move to, and select the Interval menu item:

6.
Scroll the interval until the required value is displayed:
[Interval(s)=00]
Default values:
'00'
Possible values: 00 to 50 seconds
Note: The standard value for an ASL Amplifier Mainframe is 20 seconds.
7.
Commission the amplifier by pressing the SELECT key, or cancel by pressing the BACK key.
The system will return to the parent menu after 3 seconds on pressing the SELECT key, or immediately
on pressing the BACK key.
