Contact Music Selector Configuration
Although the VAR Router provides two music inputs Music A and Music B. Only one can be routed at a time,
Music A being routed by default.
Where switchable music sources are required, it is possible to assign a contact input to act as a Music
Selector , and to switch between Music A and Music B, as described in the following steps.
1.
Select Configuration System Router Control Music.
2.
Move to, and toggle to the appropriate music option, fixed on Music A, or switchable between Music A
and Music B:
[Fixed(Music A)] MusicContact --

[Fixed(Music A)]
Music A is routed.
•
[Switched(Music A/B)]
If set to switchable then a contact must be assigned to act as a selector to switch between Music A
and Music B.
When this mode is selected, the music contact button list on the right side is scrollable for
selection.
Default value:
'Fixed(Music A)'

If 'Switched(Music A/B)' is selected then move to, and scroll the contact list until the required contact
input is displayed:
Switched(Music A/B) [MusicContact nn]
Default value:
'MusicContact 1'
Possible values: Contact 01 to 22 for VAR4
Contact 01 to 42 for VAR12
Contact 01 to 62 for VAR20
Where contacts: 00 to 10 are analogue
11 to 62 are opto-isolated

Save the changes by pressing the SELECT key, or cancel by pressing the BACK key.
