Troubleshooting

When the message "Stapler empty." appears

When the staple cartridge is empty, the message "Stapler empty." appears.

Replace the staple cartridge.

For details on replacing the staple cartridge, refer to "Replacing the sta-

ple cartridge" on page 9-8.

Example: Message when the finisher has

run out of staples

Be sure to replace the staple cartridge only

after the message appears, otherwise the

machine may be damaged.
