    Scan to HDD Data specified for copying, scanning or printing can be saved in a user box on the optional HDD. The saved file can be printed, downloaded or routed, depending on the mode in which it was saved. - The original document is sent as an image file in the TIFF format or PDF format.

    Setup Connecting to a LAN This machine communicates with the TCP/IP protocol using a LAN. There- fore, a LAN cable must be connected. To connect to a LAN, use a LAN cable (Fast Ethernet 100BASE-TX cable). Connecting the LAN cable Connect the LAN cable connector to the port (LAN) on the right of this ma- chine and the other end to the hub.
