Pause / Pause Insertion

Pause Insertion is used to generate an intentional delay in dialing on outgoing CO line calls. A pause or a
combination of pauses may be stored in the Speed Dial bins to allow timed access to special services, while allowing
you to monitor the progress of the call.
A pause will appear as "P" on a Digital Speakerphone display.
The system also supports Automatic Pause Insertion. This function monitors digits dialed on "PBX" Type CO Lines for
PBX Codes entered. When a PBX Code is recognized, the system automatically inserts a pause between that digit
and the remaining digits for Last Number Redial system features.
