Sleeping Mode Status

For power conservation, the Handset will enter sleeping mode automatically when there is
no special event in the system.
Row 3 of the LCD display will display a Handset extension number for the user's reference.
Row 2 will be blank, to extend standby time.

Press any key to "wake up" the unit. If the Handset receives any special information from
the Base Unit, it will also wake up automatically.
NOTE: If the Handset is in sleeping mode, the LED will not be turned on.

Key Lock Mode Status

If you press and hold the Flash Key for 2 seconds, the Handset will be in key Locked/
Unlock mode.

When a Handset is in the key Unlocked mode (normal mode) and you press and hold the
Flash Key, the unit will enter the lock mode automatically. A 3‐second display indicates
how to unlock the mode:
