Status Indications
The Emerald ICE Cordless Telephone Set provides you with RF Link status and Battery Power
status indications.
NOTE: All new information about RF and Battery status will be displayed on Row 1 of the LCD.

Low Battery Power Status

The Handset will display a battery power status icon on the upper right corner of the LCD.
If the battery power is too low to work, the unit will also display LOW BATTERY before the
battery is out of power completely.
If the Handset is not in the standby mode, the icon would be flashing at the cadence of 0.5
sec, on‐and‐off repeatedly when the battery power is too low. However, it will not flash
when in a low battery condition or in standby mode. If the Handset is in the talk mode, the
unit will also generate a warning beep for 15 seconds.

Out Of Range Status

If the Handset is in talk mode and the user is an extended distance away from the Base
Unit, the Handset will display OUT OF RANGE and generate a warning beep for 5 sec‐
onds:
If you do not return to close proximity of the Base Unit, the call will be dropped within 30
seconds.
