INTRODUCTION

While your Tata Indigo is manufactured to strict standards to provide
economical and trouble-free use, performing regular maintenance
and car care is an important part of owning your vehicle. Performing
maintenance and car care at scheduled intervals or as needed will ensure
you get the most satisfaction from your vehicle for many years.
This section outlines basic service, maintenance schedules, recommended
fluids and car care procedures for your vehicle. If you are unsure about
any maintenance procedures in this section, Tata Motors recommends
taking your vehicle to an authorised service outlet for service.
• Improper or incomplete maintenance may result in serious
personal injury or damage to your Tata Motors vehicle.
Taking your vehicle to an authorised Tata Motors service
outlet ensures your vehicle is provided with the most
comprehensive expert service possible.
• Always use Genuine Tata Motors Limited replacement
parts. Use of substandard parts may result in vehicle
damage and void the vehicle warranty.
• Do not tamper with the fuel system or fit an alternate fuel
system to your vehicle. Doing so presents a fire hazard
risk and violates government regualtions.
• Do not tap into the vehicle's electrical system in anyway.
Doing so risks electrical fire or shock and may violate the
vehicle warranty.
• Do not add accessories that are not approved by Tata
Motors. Doing so may cause adverse affects and violates
the vehicle warranty and violates government regualtions.

MAINTENANCE AND CARE – Introduction
NOTE
Retain any records of maintenance services, repairs, and
warranty work for reference. Each time a service station
performs a service or repair, complete appropriate section of
the service record in this manual.
FREE SERVICE VISITS
To show that Tata Motors Limited appreciates your business, four (4)
free service coupons (labour only) are attached to the sales invoice
when purchasing your vehicle. These coupons are valid at any Tata
Motors authorised service outlet and should be used at the intervals
outlined in the following table:

1 1000-1500 km or 1 months
2 10000 - 10500 km or 12 months
3 20000 - 20500 km or 24 months
4 30000 - 30500 km or 36 months
NOTE: All other services besides Free services.
