Owner's Responsibility:
As the owner of the vehicle covered by the extended warranty, the owner is responsible for several key items in order for the
extended warranty to remain in effect. These items include, but are not limited to, the following terms:
The owner is responsible for proper use, maintenance, and care of the vehicle in accordance with the description defined in
this manual and the extended warranty booklet.
The owner must retain all maintenance, service, and warranty repair bills.
The owner must produce the extended warranty and cover note to the servicing dealership at the time of the warranty
claim.
Extended Warranty Coverage Notes:
The extended warranty becomes effective once the manufacturer's warranty period expires. The manufacturer's warranty
coverage terms are explained in Section 7 of this manual.
The extended warranty coverage is more restrictive than the manufacturer's warranty as the vehicle is already eighteen
months old by the time the warranty comes into effect.
The Emissions portion of the warranty is limited to the time period of the extended warranty or 80,000 km, whichever comes
first.
Refer to the extended warranty booklet for a complete list of components covered and not covered under the extended
warranty.
