BRAKE FLUID

Your vehicle is equipped with a vacuum-assisted hydraulic brake system. The
engine provides vacuum assist when running. If the engine stops while driving,
there will be enough vacuum-assist remaining to stop the vehicle once or twice
before the effort required to stop the vehicle increases 5 times. Stop the vehicle
immediately if the vehicle engine stops running.
The brake fluid reservoir is located on the right side of the engine compartment,
directly behind the intercooler. Check the level of the fluid in the brake fluid
reservoir each time the engine oil level is checked. If the fluid is before the 'MAX'
mark, add recommended fresh brake fluid until the fluid level is at the mark.
Change the brake fluid every 40,000 km or 2 years, whichever comes first.
Tata Motors recommends having the brake fluid changed by an
authorised service center to ensure proper workmanship.
Brake fluid is caustic to painted surfaces. If brake fluid comes
in contact with a painted surface, wipe and clean the area
immediately to avoid damage to the paint.
Do not drive the vehicle with the engine 'OFF'.

POWER STEERING FLUID

The power steering fluid reservoir is located on the right side of the engine
compartment, in front of the engine coolant reservoir. Check the level of the
fluid in the power steering fluid reservoir when checking engine oil level. Add
recommended power steering fluid until the fluid level is at the 'MAX' mark on
the reservoir. Change the power steering fluid every 80,000 km.
