TYRES AND WHEELS

Your vehicle is equipped with size 175/65 R14 size tyres. Always replace tyres
with the same size; the quality of the replacement tyre must be the same or better
than what is already installed on the vehicle.
Always replace tyres with the recommended size. Replacing with
tyres other than those recommended may cause adverse handling,
loss of control, and damage to the vehicle.
Always maintain correct tyre pressure. Driving with over-inflated
or under-inflated tyres is dangerous. Tyres may explode causing
death, severe injury, or loss of vehicle control.
Do not drive with tyres that are worn to the past the tread wear
indicator bars or loss of vehicle control may occur. Driving with
excessively worn tyres decreases braking and handling abilities of
the vehicle.
Check the air pressure in the tyres at regular intervals of once per week. In
addition to safety, maintaining correct tyre pressure will increase the life of the
tyre, provide better fuel economy, and ride comfort. When checking air pressure
in the tyres, inspect the vehicle's tyres for uneven wear, punctures, bulges in the
tread and sidewall as well.
Always check the pressure when the tyres are cold. When the tyre is
warm, the pressure inside the tyre is increased, giving false pressure
readings. The recommended tyre pressure and size is located on the decal,
1, the inside of the driver's door.
