T1 Interface card (VB-44550)
The T1 Interface card is mounted in a flexible slot to connect the system to T1
services. By selecting the mode switch on the card, 8/16/24 channel modes can be
selected, however, there are restrictions to the position of the slot to which the card is
mounted. This depends on the number of accommodating channels. For details on
the restrictions of the slot position, see page 2-39.
A maximum of three cards can be mounted per cabinet. When there are six cabinets,
a maximum of 18 cards can be mounted.
The T1 card has an on-board lightening arrester, so that the card can be connected to
the carrier trunk through a CSU (not provided).
This card requires the system sync circuit card be installed for clock synchronization.
