Interrupting a Copy Job

Interrupt a running copy job to create other copies in the meantime.
You can interrupt a copy job:
G
if the basic options are displayed on the touch screen,
G
if the overlay memory is not being used,
G
while the system is printing data from memory,
G
while originals are being scanned into the document memory, or
G
while originals are being scanned into the memory and a job is being
executed.
After you press the [Interrupt] key on the control panel, the copier
continues to complete any important processes before going into Interrupt
mode.
From the time you press the key until Interrupt mode is actually enabled,
the LED on the [Interrupt] key blinks.
The LED blinks:
G
until a copy set of the current copy job is output.
G
until all of the originals loaded into the EDH are scanned into memory.
G
until all of the originals loaded into the EDH are scanned into memory
and the first copy set of a job is output.
The LED is on, not blinking:
G
when interrupt mode is enabled
Interrupt with delay!
In key operator mode you can define when the interrupt is to be
enabled. For more information, see page 7-50.
