Processing a Proof Copy

Process a copy set as a proof copy to check your system settings.
Especially when processing large and complex copy jobs, you can avoid
expensive mistake copies by running a proof copy.
Process a copy set for verification.

Load the originals
H
into the EDH or
H
on the original glass.

Make any necessary changes to the system settings.

Set the number of copies.

Press [Mode Check] to open check
mode. Then press [Proof Copy].

Press [Proof Copy] on the control
panel.
The originals loaded in the EDH are
scanned. One copy set is output to
test the system settings. The Check
Mode screen is displayed on the
touch screen.

Make any necessary changes or releases to the system settings.

Was the proof copy correct?

If you do not need to modify or release any system settings, the
proof copy set is counted as one of the sets to be completed.

Press the [Exit] key to confirm the new copier settings.
The basic options are displayed.

Press the [Start] key on the control panel to start the printout.
