Using two Systems in Tandem

(only available if two of the same systems are present and connected with
an interface cable)
In tandem mode, you can run two systems (master and slave units) in
parallel operation.
Master unit
Slave unit
The master unit is the unit from which tandem mode is controlled. The
originals are scanned on the master unit. The copies are then collated and
output from both systems equally. This reduces the time needed to
complete large copy jobs in half.
If one of the systems in tandem mode fails due to an error, the copy job is
automatically completed on the other system.
Tandem mode has to be set up by a service technician!
If you want to use tandem mode, you have to have your systems
configured by a service technician. If you have questions, please
contact your technical representative.
