Before Making Copies or Faxing

To program the user name

The user name is the name that will appear in the header of faxes from
this machine.
The transmission source information is printed at the top of sent faxes.
This machine can be set to not print the transmission source information
in sent faxes.
The user name can be a maximum of 32 characters long.

Press the [Utility] key.
The first screen of the Utility mode
appears.

Press the

From the 10-Key Pad, press the [3]
key.
A screen appears, allowing you to
enter the user name.

Enter the user name using the one-
touch dial keys.

to "Entering Text" on page 3-36.

Press the [Yes] key.
The "INITIAL USER DATA" menu appears again.
