Erasing Sections of Copies

Areas such as the unclean-looking frames around copies can be erased.
The "Erase" function can be set to one of four settings.
G
"Left" erase setting:
The left side of the document is
erased from the copy.
G "Upper" erase setting:
The top of the document is erased
from the copy.
G "Frame" erase setting:
A frame around the document is
erased from the copy.
G "Center" erase setting:
A section along the center of the
document is erased from the copy.
Note
This setting is only available when
the "Book Separation" function is set.
Tip
If the "Book Separation" function is set, the "Frame" and the "Center"
erase settings can be combined (p. 5-3).
