To Mix Audio with the EZ Mixdown Wizard...
1.
Mute or archive any audio tracks you don't want to include in
your mix.
2.
Rewind Cakewalk to the beginning.
3.
Press the Mix Down button.
The EZ Mixdown Wizard Mixdown Destination page appears.

Use U-8's right or left Cursor button to choose either:
Mix down to an audio track—Choose this option if you want
to mix your audio tracks to a single stereo track in Cakewalk.
Mix down to an external recording device—Choose this
option if you are mixing to a DAT machine or other external
device.
Press the Next/Marker button to move to the next page.

On the Mixdown Audio page, use U-8's right or left Cursor button
to choose the destination track you want your mix to end up on.
Press the Next/Marker button to move to the next page. Pressing
the Prev/Marker button takes you back to the previous page.
6.
On the Effect Selection page, use U-8's right or left Cursor
buttons to choose either:
No Effect—Choose this if you don't want to apply effects
during mixdown. Choosing this option causes the Wizard to
skip over the next page.
Apply System Effect—Choose this if you want to apply an
effect to your whole mix; you'll choose the effect on the next
page.
Apply Insertion Effect—Choose this if you want to apply an
effect to a specific input. Then use the down Cursor button
to move the cursor into the Input for Insertion Effects field.
Use the left or right Cursor buttons to choose either the
Guitar/Mic/Instrument Input (INST) or AUX/Digital Input
(AUX). Choosing Wave Input (WAVE 2 EFFECTS) adds an
effect to the prerecorded tracks coming from your computer.
Press the Next/Marker button to move to the next page.
