Imported Audio Files

By default, Pro Audio will make a copy of any audio data imported via
the Insert-Wave File command and place the imported audio into the
wavedata folder. You can disable this option if, for example, you want to
import large quantities of audio data into a project and donÕt want to
consume time and disk space by making copies of the Þles. Copies are
made if the imported audio does not match the current projectÕs
sampling and bit rates (and if you edit any of the imported audio data).
When to Use...
Project files are good for routine
projects. You can use Project files
and back them up as Bundle files
at various steps during a projects
development.
Bundle files are useful for backing
up projects or for transporting a
project to another computer (to
bring it to a friend's house, for
example).
