Real-time Tempo Adjustment

In Pro Audio 9, you can use the spin buttons on the tempo dialog box to
change tempo and hear the results immediately.

Minimum Clip Width

This viewing option in the Clips pane ensures that even the smallest clip
is visible enough to edit. For more information, see ÒDisplaying ClipsÓ on
page 5-6.

Must Arm Tracks to Record

Pro Audio 9 requires you to speciÞcally arm at least one track to start
recording. This ensures that you donÕt accidentally record data to the
wrong track. However, there is an option to allow MIDI recording
without an armed track available in the Options-Global General tab.

Reorganized Menus

The Tools menu has been split into two separate menusÑTools and
Options. The MIDI Devices command, Audio Options, and all options-
type menu choices are now in the Options menu.

Tools-Run CAL Command Moved to Edit Menu

The Run CAL command has moved from the Edit menu.

Play List Easier to Use

In Pro Audio 9, you can start or stop playback of a Play List by pressing
the Spacebar. Pro Audio 9 gives you several other keyboard shortcuts as
well as saved screen layouts.

Right-click Opens Snap to Grid Dialog Box

Now either Shift-clicking or Right-clicking opens the Snap to Grid dialog
box.

Smooth Audio Scrubbing

The Scrub tool allows you to emulate the ÒrockingÓ of an analog reel-to-
reel tape.

AmpSim Lite Plug-in

A lite version of the AmpSim plug-in gives you several classic ampliÞer
sounds.
