Clearing a Document Jam
If C[..[%M {N? I G I MU. appears in the display:
Problem: There is a document jammed in the feeder. Remove the jammed
document and repeat the transmission procedure.
Cause: The document may be longer than the maximum limit (see the docu-

ment specifications on page 129).
Pull up and open the ADF cover.
Carefully take out the jammed
original. Do not leave any pieces
inside.

Close the ADF cover until it
clicks.
