Parameterization
Following power up, the DP/ASi link determines the configuration of the AS
and configuration
interface and expects a parameterization message and a configuration mes-
messages
sage from the DP master.
The parameterization message is identical to the first seven bytes of the DP
standard part (bytes 0 to 6). You will find a detailed account of the DP stan-
dard part in appendix C.1.
The length of the configuration message for default start-up is exactly 20
bytes and is described in appendix D.1.
