Usage
You require a T connector for the following configurations:
This means that the PROFIBUS-DP can continue to run even when a slave
station is uncoupled via a T connector.
Characteristics The T connector has the following characteristics:
Connections A T connector has three bus connections:
The T connector is screwed with the 12-pin connector onto the bus connec-
tion of a DP/ASi link. Both bus connections of the DP/ASi link can be used
in all cases.

Can be operated with the following baud rates:
9.6; 19.2; 93.75; 187.5; 500; 1500; 3000; 6000 and 12000 kBd
The 3000, 6000 and 12000 kBd baud rates are possible only in the case of
operation with a suitable DP master – for example, the IM 308-C.
