The name of the text file is the same as the .csv file, except that the file extension
is .txt.

Importing Extensions from the Active Directory

1. First, back up your system configurations, using AltiGen's System Data Management
tool (Services > Utilities > System Data Management).
2. Go to Services > Utilities > Import Extensions from Active Directory.

3. Enter the server path, user name and password.
4. Click the Read Active Directory button.
All user information is displayed in the table. (A record must have either an Ext
Number or First Name or Last Name or Mail Address, otherwise it will not be not
listed in the table.)
5. Select the extensions you want to import. You can use the Select All button, but
only records that have an extension number can be selected. If an extension number
is empty, a warning message appears.
6. You can use the Clear All button to clear all checkmarks.
7. Click Import. A progress bar tells you the progress of importing.
8. If an extension already exists in the destination list, a dialog box opens.
9. Respond to the question in the dialog box. If you decide to overwrite the extension,
other fields not in the Active Directory are kept.
