Work clamp foot shape
The shape of the work clamp foot of the sewng machne to be
used s set. Parameters to be dsplayed, and the operaton of
the sewng machne and belt-loop clamp change over accordng
to the selected work clamp foot shape. The settng of the work
clamp foot should match the shape of the work clamp foot actually
mounted on the sewng machne.
Lnear bartackng
Caution: When you select the "lnear bartackng," the standard
bartackng patterns 7 to 9 cannot be selected.
Selection of the garment-body presser shape
Wth/wthout of the auxlary clamp for the garment-body presser s
selected. The settng should match the shape of the garment-body
presser actually mounted on the sewng machne.
Wth the auxlary clamp
Caution: The belt-loop patterns of shape Nos. 2 and 6 cannot be
sewng wth the auxlary clamp nstalled.
In the case "Wth the auxlary clamp" s selected, "E478 Belt-loop
shape/garment-body presser shape msmatch error" wll occur
when one of those belt-loop pattern shapes s selected and the
set ready key s pressed.
If the error has occurred, select "Wthout the auxlary clamp" wth
the auxlary clamp removed.
Manual function
The operaton of the manual pedal (optonal) s selected. If the
manual pedal s used, the garment-body presser can be manually
operated. Refer to the Engneer's Manual for detals

If the machine performs sewing with the "zigzag
bartacking" selected with the linear bartacking
presser is mounted on the sewing machine, the
needle may break.
