Function of instruction commands for iSMrepair and options are as follows:
-r option:
-s option:
(1) Instruction of start for repair to normal disk
When "-r" is specified to the option, repair start will be instructed to the Hot-spare disk in specified RANK or
disk normally restored from reduction.
>iSMrepair -r iS2000 00-00 00-00
iSM11100:Command completed successfully.
However, the following conditions must be satisfied.
- The status of specified disk is normal.
- The specified disk is either Hot-spare disk or reduced disk.
- The specified Hot-spare disk is not an alternative of other disks.
(2) Instruction of start for repair to reduced disk
When "-s" is specified to the option, Hot-spare disk is automatically assigned to the physical disk in specified
RANK, then repair start will be instructed to spare disk.
>iSMrepair -s iS2000 00-00 00-0e
iSM11100:Command completed successfully.
However, following conditions must be satisfied.
- The specified physical disk is a reduced disk.
- Hot-spare disk must exist. The status of Hot-spare disk is normal and is not alternative of other disks.
(3) Remarks
* When a different number is specified to the PD group number to which the RANK and PD are configured,
following messages are displayed. Specify the same number as the PD group number to which the RANK and
PD are configured.

iSM11567:PD Group Number is different.

Repair start will be instructed to the specified disk that is normally restored from Hot-spare disk or
reduction. For details, refer to (1) "Instruction of start for repair to normal disk".
Repair start will be instructed to Hot-spare disk that is automatically assigned by specifying reduced
disk. For details refer to (2) "Instruction of start for repair to reduced disk".
