iSMview executes State Display of disk array, and each resource in disk array. For the iSMview command,
refer to the description part about iSMview in the "NEC Storage Manager User's Manual" in accordance
with your OS.

The iSMrepair executes rebuilding start instruction for the reduced RANK in the disk array.
* iSMrepair can only be used if Auto Repair Mode is set to OFF. When it is ON, rebuild starts
automatically.

This software does not include operation authority check function. Execute the commands by the
following operation authority, depending on each operating system that is currently used.
- In HP-UX, execute all commands by super user or NEC Storage Manager administrator.
* About registration and deletion of NEC Storage Manager administrator, refer to the description part
about the NEC Storage Manager administrator setting command in the "NEC Storage Manager User's
Manual (UNIX)".
- In Solaris system, execution of all commands must be allowed for a super user only.
- In Windows 2000, execute all commands by the authority of Administrator group.
