Chapter 4 Setting Commands
When the number of bound RANKs is specified with 0, the message below is displayed; the screen returns to step
(3) "Set the Number of Hot Spares".
iSM11406:Cannot bind RANK by specified parameter.
(6) LD Bind
In this step, select which of the number of LDs or the LD capacity should have a priority for LD Bind.

autobind> LD Setting method (1 - 2) =
When specifying the number of LDs, type "1". When specifying the LD capacity, type "2". The following entry
line appears depending on the typed value.
(i)
When "1" (number of LDs) is typed.
autobind> Number of LD (1 - 1024) =
Type the number of LDs to be created.
Up to 36 LDs can be created for each RANK.
The LD capacity is automatically assigned to an appropriate one of the recommended values so that the capacity
for each LD gets the same and the unused capacity gets the minimum, taking account into the RANK capacity and
the number of LDs specified above.

* Set RANK in ascending order of the number until there is no capacity.
(ii)
When "2" (LD capacity) is typed.
autobind> LD Capacity (1024 – 999999) MB =
Type the capacity of created LDs in megabytes. The number of LDs is set to the maximum number of LDs that
can be created within the specified capacity. The rest is reserved as an unused area.
* LD Capacity should input the value except system capacity (2MB) from the capacity to create.
