- RANK Start Block Address (only for Custom)
Selected range is calculated by the inputted RANK No. Within this range, input start block address of the
RANK area where an LD is to be built.
When the input RANK start block address cannot be divided by capacity unit, a value is displayed being divided
into the capacity unit which is the closest to the input value, as shown below.
conf:ldbind> RANK Start Block Address (0 – 7ffb800) hex = 1000000
Illegal Parameter!!
iSM11322:The address which can be specified is fff000h or 1002800h.
conf:ldbind> RANK Start Block Address (0 – 7ffb800) hex = 1002800
- LD Capacity
Selected range is calculated by the inputted RANK No. When "Custom" is selected, the rest of capacity is
calculated by the input RANK start block address. Within this range, input the capacity of the RANK area
where an LD is to be built.
When the value which is obtained by adding the system capacity to the input LD capacity cannot be divided by
capacity unit, values for the capacity of user and system areas are calculated and divided into the appropriate
size as shown below.
conf:ldbind> LD Capacity (7 - 57335) MB = 57000
iSM11320:LD capacity which is bound will become 57000 MB.
iSM11321:System space of 2MB is added to LD, and LD is bound.
conf:ldbind> LD Capacity OK? (y | n) =
When binding an LD by the displayed value, input "y" and then input following parameters. When "n" is input,
LD capacity can be modified.
* For LD capacity, input the value which is obtained by excluding system capacity (2MB) from the free space of
RANK displayed by "0. View Current Settings".
- Number of LDs (only for Standard)
Selected range is calculated by the inputted RANK No. and LD Capacity. Within this range, input number of
LDs.
- Format Time
Input necessary time for LD Binding. When "0" is input, LD is bound in the shortest time.
* If there is already-bound LD that is under operation, set the Format Time long enough to avoid the influence
upon the LD.
