(7) Hot Spare Bind
Select " 7. Hot Spare Bind" from the menu and input parameter as follows to bind Hot spare.

Each parameter is described below.
- PDG No.
Input PD Group number of Hot Spare disk to be bound at the same time.
- Number of PDs (only for Standard)
Input the number of Hot Spares to be bound.
- PDN (only for Custom)
Input the number of PDs to be bound as Hot Spare. To select plural Hot Spare disks, refer to Part II 4.2.3 (1)

* Hot Spare can be bound to the maximum of 2 per DE.
* Check the physical disk configuration by "0. View Current Settings", before Hot Spare binding.
(8) Hot Spare Unbind
Select "8. Hot Spare Unbind" from the menu and input parameter as follows to unbind Hot Spare.

Each parameter is described below.
- PDG No.
Input the PDG number for which the Hot Spare disk to be unbound.
- PDN
Input PD number of Hot Spare disk to be unbound. To select two or more commands refer to Part II 4.2.3 (1)
