CHOKE ADJUSTMENT

Choke control play should be about 2 ÷ 3 mm (0.078 ÷ 0.118
in).
To adjust play:
•
Position the vehicle on the stand.
•
Lift the fuel tank, see (LIFTING THE FUEL TANK).
• Stand on the left side of the vehicle.
NOTE DO NOT remove the throttle cable protection element
(1).
•
Withdraw the protection element (2).
•
Loosen the nut (3).
• Turn the adjuster (4) on the carburettor.
•
After the adjustment:
•
Tighten the nut (3) to lock the adjuster (4) and refit the
protection element (2).
