MAKE SURE THE CAP IS TIGHTLY CLOSED.

Rear shock absorbers adjustment (03_03, 03_04)

REAR SUSPENSION
The rear suspension consists of a spring-shock absorber unit linked to the frame via
uniball joints.
To adjust the setting, the shock absorber is fitted with a set screw (1) that adjusts
hydraulic rebound damping, and knob (2) to adjust spring preloading (3).
CAUTION
THE SHOCK ABSORBER STANDARD SETTING IS ADJUSTED TO MEET TOU-
03_03
RIST RIDING. HOWEVER, THIS SET CAN BE ADJUSTED TO SPECIFIC NEEDS
ACCORDING TO VEHICLE USE.
TO COUNT THE CLICKS OF SET SCREWS (1) ALWAYS START FROM THE
MOST RIGID SETTING (SET SCREW FULLY CLOCKWISE).
IN ORDER TO AVOID DAMAGES DO NOT FORCE THE SET SCREWS (1) TO
TURN BEYOND THE END OF THE STROKE ON BOTH SIDES.
CAUTION
IF THE SPRING PRELOADING IS INCREASED, IT IS NECESSARY TO INCREASE
THE REBOUND DAMPING ACCORDINGLY TO AVOID SUDDEN JERKS WHEN
RIDING.
