If you are using a text editor to create the .csv file, use quotation marks (" ") if the value for a field contains a space (for
example, "Westlee Barichak").
Add no more than 2000 actions to a file.
Assign a maximum of 32 profiles to BlackBerry devices that are running BlackBerry Device Software versions that are
earlier than 4.5.0.
Assign a maximum of 64 profiles to BlackBerry devices that are running BlackBerry Device Software version 4.5.0 and
later.
Create a .csv file that contains profile information that
you want to import
Before you begin: Using the BlackBerry Administration Service, create profiles and specify the configuration settings for
the profiles.
1.
Using the BlackBerry Administration Service, export user information for the user accounts that you want to update
profile information for to a .csv file.
2.
In any application that permits you to update .csv files, add the following fields to the .csv file that you exported in
step 1:
Attribute Name
Attribute Type
Action
User Name
Password

Configure the fields for each user account in the file.
4.
Save the changes.
