Removing and Replacing the Flex Cable Retainer and

Cable

This section describes how to remove and replace the ﬂex cable retainer and cable.

NOTE

Prior to removing the Flex Cable Retainer and Cable, the Front, Top, and

Side panels need to be removed. See the appropriate section(s) for removing

and replacing these components.

1. Remove the ﬂex cable retainer by grasping it and lifting up as shown below.

2. Remove the ﬂex cable by grasping the connector handles on each side and pulling them

outward as shown below. This will loosen the connectors; lift the ﬂex cable away and set

it aside.
