Replacing PCI Cards

CAUTION
To avoid damaging the PCI card connectors, do not rock a PCI card from side
to side when inserting it.

PCI I/O Card
1. Align the edges of the PCI card with the guide rails on the I/O fan bracket (if they are
full-length cards) and firmly push to slide the card into the slot on the I/O board.
Visually inspect and confirm the connection between the PCI card(s) and the I/O board.
NOTE
If the PCI card will not slide in, look at the slots from the back of the
workstation. Protrusions on the face plate of the PCI card may be causing the
obstruction.
2. Replace the T-15 Torx screw that secures the PCI card to the workstation
3. Repeat steps 1 and 2 for all PCI cards.
