DISCONNECT THE THROTTLE BODY
DISCONNECT:
- Fuel tank and air cleaner
- Gasoline in the fuel tube.
- Fuel tube connected to the injector cap.
- TPS, ISA, MAPAT, injector coupler.
- Throttle cable
CAUTION
!
Do not disconnect both the throttle adjust screw
and adjusting nut
Disconnect the Insulator mounting two bolts
DISASSEMBLE THE THROTTLE BODY
DISCONNECT:
- The insulator and throttle body mounting
two bolts.
- TPS (Throttle position sensor)
- ISA (Idle speed actuator)
- O-ring from the throttle body
CAUTION
!
Do not disconnect the throttle valve
CHECKING THE THROTTLE BODY
CHECK:
- Throttle shaft
- Throttle valve
