Clutch, Gearshift
Inspection
Inspect the lifter plate bearing for scoring and
other damage.
Inspect the lifter plate for damage.
If necessary, replace them.
Measure the clutch spring free height.
Service Limit:34.2mm(1.35in)
Check the clutch disk. If necessary, replace it.
Measure the disk amplitude.
Service Limit: 2.6mm(0.10 in)
Check the plate for warpage on a surface plate,
using a feeler gauge.
Service Limit: 0.2mm(0.01 in)
NOTE
If any of the disk and plate requires replacement,
it must be replaced as a set.
