Section - Admin Programs
The Network page contains settings specific to the network configuration of the KVM-410. The Access Ports, IP Address,
DNS Servers, and Log Server address can all be configured here. Click OK to apply any changes.
Access Port
The Access Ports allow the administrator to specify
the port numbers that will be used to access the
device. These port numbers must be specified
as part of the IP Address when logging into the
KVM-410. The program port specifies the port
used when connecting with the Administrator and
Windows Client programs. The Java port is used
for Java Client connections.
IP Address
The KVM-410 can have it's IP Address assigned
dynamically at boot up with DHCP, or it can be
assigned a static address here. To assign a static
address, select the Set IP address manually button
and assign the device an IP Address, Subnet Mask,
and Default Gateway.
DNS Servers
The KVM-410 can have it's DNS Servers assigned
dynamically or statically assigned. To assign static
DNS, select the Use the following DNS Server
Address button and specify the DNS servers.
Log Server
Transactions such as logins and internal status
messages are kept in an automatically generated
log file. Specify the MAC Address and port number
for the server you want the log server software to
run on.
