The Security page allows the administrator to control access to the KVM-410.
The IP and MAC Filters permit or deny access
IP and MAC
to the KVM-410 based on specific IP and MAC
Filters
addresses attempting to access the system.
The Default Java program name allows the
Default Java
administrator to specify an additional suffix to the IP
program name
Address that the user must include when accessing
the KVM-410 using the Java client, for example,
192.168.0.60/java.html.
This name must be included or access will not be
granted. If no Java program name is specified,
users will be unable to access the KVM-410 with
the Java client. It is recommended for security
purposes that the name be changed periodically.
Admin Station
Admin Station Filters specify which MAC addresses
Filters
are allowed to access the system using the
KVM-410 Administration Utility. If nothing is
specified here, there are no restrictions.
