Log File

The KVM-410 logs all of the events that occur on it. Following a reset, it writes all events to a log file, which is a
searchable database. To view the contents of the log file, make sure you have Log access rights and click the Log
option from the KVM-410 Main Page. A screen similar to the one below will appear:
A maximum of 512 events are kept in the log file. As new events are recorded, they are placed at the bottom of the
list. When a new event is recorded after there are 512 events in the log file, the earliest event in the list is discarded.
To keep a record of all events, the Log Server Program must be installed. (see p. 71 for details).
To clear the log file, click on the Clear Log icon.
