Supervisor Engine Software
The supervisor engine software is factory installed on every supervisor engine module or
fixed-configuration switch. Some modules require an additional software image, which is factory
installed on the module.
The Catalyst enterprise LAN switches share a command-line interface (CLI) with which you can
configure modules and ports on the switches. For more information, see
Command-Line Interface."
