2.1.4 INTENDED USE

Inxpect Value Line is a human body detection system.
Depending on its model-type, each sensor performs one of the following protective functions:
Access detection function: access of one or more persons to a hazardous area deactivates the outputs to
l
stop the moving parts of the machinery.
Restart prevention function: prevents unexpected starting or restarting of the machinery. Detection of
l
motion within the dangerous area maintains the outputs deactivated to prevent machinery starting.
Stop signal: it forces all the outputs to OFF-state.
l
Restart signal: it enables the control unit to switch to ON-state the outputs related to all the detection
l
fields with no motion detected. It can be performed:
using single channel inputs/OSSDs
