Release ABS sensor (arrow) (1) attachment
•
Remove ABS sensor (1)
When installing:
•
While installation is basically a reversal of the re-
moval process, careful attention should be di-
rected toward the following:

Attention:
Install the ABS sensor wire carefully and secure it
with cable ties!
e
Attention:
When installing a new ABS sensor, always check
the sensor gap!
– Check the ABS sensor gap and adjust if neces-
sary ( 34.15)

Torque specification:
ABS sensor attachment ................................. 9 Nm
Adjustment data:
ABS sensor gap ..................min 0.3 mm (0.0118 in)

– Remove front wheel

Remove 5 fasteners (arrows) securing the ABS
reluctor
•
Remove the ABS reluctor
When installing:
•
While installation is basically a reversal of the re-
moval process, careful attention should be di-

Check the ABS sensor gap and adjust if neces-
sary

ABS reluctor attachment ................................ 5 Nm
Replacing front ABS reluctor
